TRIP TO UGANDA, MARCH 4-18, 2013

We are very proud that Delicious Peace was such a big success in the film festival circuit, garnering over 35 official selections to prestigious film festivals worldwide as well as a number of festival awards. We are now preparing the documentary’s TV launch — in an updated, slightly longer version that also discusses the impact of climate change on the farmers’ crops.

The plan will require us to return to Uganda for another few days of videotaping, and we thought we would do that by offering a full-activity experience to a small number of participants. The trip will take place March 4-18, 2013. It will include several days visiting the farmers, including spending personal time with them in their homes, on their farms, and in their houses of worship. It will also include, among many other activities, a day hike on the ancient volcano of Mt. Elgon, two safaris including one at the African rift valley in Murchison Falls, and a chimp hike. The cost is $3500 all-inclusive except air fare.

Several people are already committed, but we have a few additional spaces. The date is fast approaching, so if you are interested, please email ellen@deliciouspeacethemovie.com ASAP! Here is the itinerary:
